Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently announced the election of new officers to its Board of Directors, as well as the addition of a new board member. Pierre Anderson will serve as Board Chair, joined by Walter Kowal as Vice Chair, Michael J. Tretina as Treasurer, and Jen Mathews as Secretary.
Anderson, of Wilmington, is the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of Artesian Resources Corporation & Subsidiaries and has served on the board since 2017. Kowal, of Wilmington, is the Vice President, Business Operations - Hospital-Based Services, at Nemours Children's Health, and has served on the board since 2024. Tretina, of Magnolia, DE, is the Senior Vice President and CFO at Bayhealth, Inc. and Bayhealth Medical Center and has served on the board since 2019. Mathews, of Lincoln University, PA, is a Vice President of Technology for CSC®, and has served on the board since 2019.
The organisation also welcomes Loretta Ostroski of Lewes, DE, as the newest member of its Board of Directors.
Ostroski has been a member of Beebe Healthcare for over 35 years. She currently serves as the Vice President of Integrated Care-Continuum of Care. Ostroski began her career as the Nurse Manager of Emergency and Trauma Services, transitioning to Director of Patient Care Services, then to Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, and was promoted to Vice President of Inpatient and Emergency Services. She holds a Master of Nursing. Ostroski is a Certified Nurse Executive and Green Belt Lean Leader.
