    Families like James’ turn to Easterseals not only for life-changing therapies, but for hope for their child’s future. Tracy and Jamie experienced that after James was diagnosed with Down syndrome.

    Easterseals Celebrates Older Americans Month

    In observance of Older Americans month in May, Easterseals will feature “Assistive Technology for Aging” in its virtual “What’s thAT?” assistive technology series. Easterseals’ “What’s thAT?” offers valuable tools and tips to help caregivers support loved ones so they can live as independently as possible.

    Easterseals Celebrates National Speech-Language-Hearing Month

    Harrison’s first words were uttered through a speech program on his tablet, mostly about his needs. Now he can say over 200 words and speak in short sentences, including singing his favorite songs. He is working on describing things around him.

    Evie Is Unstoppable With Easterseals

    When Evie started receiving Occupational Therapy, she was not able to sit up unsupported, reach, bring her hands together, or hold anything. Easterseals therapists helped her learn to play, hold toys, clap, hold her spoon correctly so she can effectively feed herself, color, and safely use scissors.
