Easterseals Camp Fairlee Honors the Memory of Charles Rochester, Jr.

The climbing tower and zip line at Easterseals Camp Fairlee will honor the memory of the late Charles Rochester Jr., whose families have roots in both the Rock Hall, Maryland and Wilmington, Delaware communities. Charles’ wife, Lisa Blunt Rochester, his father, Charles Rochester, Sr., and his sisters, longtime Camp Fairlee staffer, Desiree Rochester and Teresa Rochester Miller were welcomed to Camp Fairlee by Kenan J. Sklenar, President/CEO, and long-time Board Member John Riley at a ceremony to honor Charles, who passed away a year ago. The Rochester family made a generous contribution to memorialize Charles’ incredibly adventurous and humanitarian spirit. The donation will greatly assist in the expansion and improvement of Camp Fairlee and help ensure the camp can continue to provide vitally needed year-round services to people with disabilities and their families.
