We know this is a challenging time for many families facing food insecurity, especially those affected by the federal government shutdown and the uncertainty in the availability of SNAP benefits. Delaware Governor Matt Meyer and Maryland Governor Wes Moore have indicated both Delaware and Maryland will temporarily continue SNAP benefits and redirect state funds to ensure families can access food assistance during the shutdown.
Below you’ll find local resources for food and other assistance in Delaware and Maryland that may be able to help regardless of whether or not you receive SNAP benefits. Please note: This information is current as of October 31, 2025, and may not reflect the latest updates or changes in availability.
