Easterseals Receives Grant from Capital One
Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently received a grant from Capital One to continue to support a financial empowerment program that benefits participants in Easterseals day programs for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The program is hosted virtually so all program participants and Capital One employee volunteers, who host the program, are able to participate in this interactive and fun class that supports the fundamentals of financial empowerment. -

For their leadership and dedication to improving the lives of people with disabilities, David and Jamie Doane, from Dagsboro, DE, will be presented with the Easterseals Drex Jones Volunteer Award at Easterseals 75th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, October 19th, at the Chase Center in Wilmington, DE. Easterseals is a leading provider of services for children and adults with disabilities and their families in the region. -
Easterseals Camp Fairlee Recognizes Donors of CAMPaign Fairlee
Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently recognized those who helped raise nearly $4.5 million to expand and modernize Easterseals Camp Fairlee in Chestertown, MD. A beautiful donor wall was dedicated and now hangs in the newly constructed Activity Center, which, not only welcomes families to the fully accessible camp but also allows Camp Fairlee to be a year-round resource of respite and recreation to families in the region. -

Easterseals Camp Fairlee Receives American Camp Association Accreditation
Easterseals Camp Fairlee has recently received its American Camp Association (ACA)-Accredited® Camp status in an accreditation process that evaluates key aspects of camp operation. ACA-accredited camps meet up to 300 standards for health, safety and program quality. -
Donnie Williams Foundation Presents Easterseals With $10,000 for Camp Fairlee
Donnie William Foundation Board Members, Allen Brown and Mark Granger present $10,000 to Ford Waggoner, Director of Marketing for Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The money will be used to help children with disabilities from Maryland counties: Wicomico, Worcester and St. Mary’s enjoy Easterseals Camp Fairlee in Chestertown, MD.
