    Easterseals Receives Investment from DuPont for Supported Employment Program

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently received a grant from DuPont to support its Supported Employment program – a program that opens the door to meaningful work and competitive wages in the community for adults with intellectual disabilities, while providing employers with dedicated, productive employees. Each year, Easterseals partners with over 60 businesses around Delaware to recruit and train individuals with disabilities for their workplace.

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore announced that it has received a grant
    from the Welfare Foundation to offer children under the age of three with autism Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Easterseals was awarded this grant in the Welfare Foundation’s last grant cycle.

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore announced that it has received a grant from Bank of America for its programs and services that benefit people with disabilities, seniors, veterans and their families.
  • Easterseals Receives Grant from Capital One

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently received a grant from Capital One to continue to support a financial empowerment program that benefits participants in Easterseals day programs for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The program is hosted virtually so all program participants and Capital One employee volunteers, who host the program, are able to participate in this interactive and fun class that supports the fundamentals of financial empowerment.

    Easterseals Receives Grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently received a highly sought-after $30,000 Quality of Life grant from The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Easterseals was one of only 17 grantees nationwide awarded funds from this foundation this year. The grant money will be used to install cameras within the Easterseals Resource Center to allow virtual tours for consumers with disabilities, including paralysis, and their caregivers.

    Easterseals Receives Grant from Donnie Williams Foundation

    Recently, Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore received a $30,000 grant from the Donnie Williams Foundation to support their Children’s Therapy services in Salisbury, MD. The grant, which will be used to hire additional therapists, will help meet the overwhelming needs of children and families who are already receiving services as well as offer services to those waiting on the expansive waitlist.

    Easterseals Receives Grant from Donnie Williams Foundation

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is excited to announce it has received a grant from the Donnie Williams Foundation to support their Children’s Therapy services in Salisbury, MD. The grant will help meet the overwhelming needs of children, like Conor Pellinger, and families who are already receiving services as well as offer services to those waiting on the expansive waitlist.

    Easterseals Receives Grant from DuPont to Help Support Autism Therapy Program

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore announced that it has received a grant from DuPont to purchase tools for intervention kits for children under the age of three with autism participating in their Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. The grant will ensure that each child has their own kit with the consideration of not spreading the COVID virus.
  • Easterseals Receives $1,000 from Del-One Foundation

    Easterseals of Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore announced that it has received $1,000 from the Del-One Foundation for the 2019 Walk With Me Delmarva event. Del-One is the first Gold Sponsor for next year’s event.
  • Easterseals Receives Continued Support from DuPont

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently received a grant from DuPont to expand outdoor programming by adding additional outdoor furniture for their Adult Day Health Services, which include seniors, veterans and adults with physical disabilities. The expansion will help promote exercise and socialization, as well as, the added health benefits for the participants being outdoors, including decreased depression and anxiety.
