    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore announced that it has received a grant from the New Castle County CARES Relief Act Health Equity Grant. The grant funding will make it possible for Easterseals to purchase technology to be loaned to community-based participants, who because of health risks are unable to attend in-person services. With the loaned technology, participants will have the ability to access Easterseals virtual programming services.

The creation of a fund bearing his name is to honor Adami’s legacy of leadership and innovation at Easterseals.

Additionally, Robert J.A. Fraser, longtime board member of the local affiliate, will be recognized with the Drex Jones Volunteer Award for his extraordinary service to people with disabilities in the region.

As those nerves faded, Emily’s mom, Julia, has watched her grow into a more independent woman thanks to the skills she is learning at Easterseals.

    Tina was reluctant to leave her youngest son, Kyle, for the first time at Easterseals Camp Fairlee. Thanks to some gentle nudging from her daughter-in-law, she was finally persuaded to give it a chance. All that worry went away as soon as she opened the car door and saw Kyle’s smiling face.
