Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore’s Chief Operating Officer, Pamela Reuther, of Harbeson, DE, has been named a 2026 honoree in Delaware Business Times’ annual CEO and C-Suite of the Year program, which recognizes top executives who play a critical role in driving organizational success. Selected by an independent judging panel, this year’s class marks the program’s most competitive to date, according to the Delaware Business Times.
Pam has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Easterseals since 2018, capping a remarkable 32-year career with the organization that began in 1994 as a temporary front-line employee. Over the course of her tenure, she has advanced through numerous leadership roles, helping to shape and expand the organization’s impact across the region.
“On behalf of everyone at Easterseals, I’m delighted to congratulate Pam on being named a 2026 C-Suite of the year honoree,” Easterseals President/CEO, Ken Sklenar, said. “This well-deserved recognition reflects Pam’s outstanding leadership, unwavering commitment to our mission, and the meaningful impact she’s made—from her early days on the front line to her role as COO today. Pam’s dedication has helped drive our growth, strengthen our services, and improve the lives of thousands across our community. We’re incredibly proud and grateful for all she does.”
As COO, Pam oversees a wide range of programs and services, including Children’s Therapy, Intellectual Disabilities, Adult Day Health Services, Community Outreach and Assistive Technology, Self-Directed Services, and Recreation, including the expansion of Camp Fairlee services with a new cabin and state-of-the-art pool in 2026.
Under her leadership, Easterseals has delivered strong growth and expanded impact, increasing its operating budget by 49% while serving more than 7,200 individuals annually across eight locations. This progress has been driven in part by the successful expansion of key programs, including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Agency with Choice, Pediatric Personal Attendant Care, respite services, and others.
“It’s an honor to be recognized for my service to an organization that I truly love,” Reuther said. “Throughout my 32 years with Easterseals, the real reward has always been supporting extraordinary teams who help children and adults with disabilities—and the families who care for them—find their strengths and live more independently.”
