It is an incredible honor to serve as President/CEO of Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore, an organization that has been such a meaningful part of my life for more than three decades. As a Delaware native, I am especially grateful for the opportunity to lead an organization so deeply connected to the community I call home.
My Easterseals journey began in 1994 as a physical therapist assistant, advancing to physical therapist early in my tenure. Over the years, I have been fortunate to grow alongside this organization, serving in roles including Clinical Coordinator, Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy, Vice President of Programs, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer. Through each experience, my belief in the mission—and in the people who bring it to life—has only grown stronger.
I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the difference Easterseals makes in the lives of children and adults with disabilities, seniors and their families throughout our community. I have witnessed our staff's dedication, the strength of the people we serve, and the incredible impact that happens when a community comes together around a shared purpose.
That mission is what makes Easterseals so special. For generations, Easterseals has been here to create opportunities, break down barriers, and help people live, learn, work, and thrive. We could not do this work without the trust and support of the individuals and families we serve, our employees, volunteers, donors, partners, and friends throughout the community. We are grateful for that support.
As President & CEO, my commitment to our mission remains steadfast. I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside our staff, the people we serve, and our community of supporters as we build on what has been accomplished and embrace the opportunities ahead.
With appreciation,
Pamela M. Reuther
