Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore has received a grant from the Longwood Foundation to benefit two critical projects at Easterseals Camp Fairlee: replacing the aquatics area and adding a sensory-friendly cabin.

When two-year-old Penelope “Penny” Pratz, of Wilmington, DE, started receiving Easterseals Children’s Therapy services, she was unable to stand on her own or walk. Her parents, Alexandra and Scott, were worried she may never walk, but they put their trust in Easterseals, and that made all the difference.

Recognized for its long-standing dedication to fostering an inclusive workforce for people with disabilities, Bank of America will be presented with the inaugural Easterseals Disability Community Impact Award at the 2024 Easterseals Annual Celebration on Tuesday, October 29th, at the Chase Center in Wilmington, DE. Easterseals is a leading provider of services for children and adults with disabilities and their families in the region.

Three-year-old twins Elijah and Lorenzo Erli, of Dover, DE, are thrilled when their school bus comes around the corner. It is time to go to school and they get to travel in one of their favorite vehicles. Double bonus! It was not that long ago that the twins’ parents, Angie and David, were concerned about their progress and worried about them going to school. Once the twins began Easterseals Children’s Therapy services, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) the worries melted away.
