Adult Services

Easterseals provides a variety of center and community-based services for adults and seniors with disabilities.

Overview

Adult day services offer a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our programs are designed to promote independence, build social connections, and provide enriching activities that enhance everyday life.

Whether it’s learning new skills, making friends, or enjoying a daily routine, participants thrive in a setting built around their needs. We also provide services that give family caregivers valuable peace of mind and time to recharge. With compassion and care at the heart of what we do, we help individuals live fully and families feel supported.

Our Programs

Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism

Easterseals offers a variety of day program services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism. Throughout Delaware, services include Life Skills programs, Pre-Vocational services, and Supported Employment options.

Adults with Physical Disabilities

Caring for a family member? You're not alone. Whether through birth conditions, accidents, or chronic illness, many adults and their families benefit from our services. Easterseals adult day health services provide appropriate support to adults with acquired disabilities and a chance to live satisfying lives in their communities.

Senior Services

Easterseals offers a growing range of services—including adult day health, assistive technology, case management, wellness programs, and caregiver support—to promote wellness, independence, and connection, helping seniors live as independently as possible for as long as possible.

Personal Attendant Services

The Personal Attendant Services (PAS) program empowers adults with physical disabilities to live independently in the community by hiring and managing personal attendants based on their individual needs and preferences.

Respite

Are you handling your aging mother's bills? Do you take your grandfather to the grocery store once a week? Do you take time off work to drive your aunt to her doctor's appointments? If so, you are a caregiver, and many services and supports are available to you and the person you are caring for.

Camp Fairlee is for Adults, too!

Easterseals Camp Fairlee, located near Chestertown, MD, offers year-round programs—including summer camps and weekend respites—that provide recreation, friendship, and support for individuals with disabilities, while giving caregivers a much-needed break.

Community Outreach Program

Our Community Outreach Program connects individuals, families, and professionals with disability-related education, hands-on assistive technology trials, and personalized support through our Resource and Technology Demonstration Center and dedicated case managers.
