    Easterseals Helps Caregivers During the Holiday Season

    If you are like many people caring for an aging loved one, take the time to check in with them this holiday season, whether you live close by or are separated by hundreds of miles. Although the distance may change, the responsibility and dedication as a caregiver remain the same. Whether you check in by phone, by video chat or in person, Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore has some advice to help you keep your loved ones safe during the holidays and throughout the year.

    The Adami Fund for Innovation

    Former Easterseals President and CEO, Bill Adami, dedicated his life to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a 14-year-old volunteer at a state institution for people with significant intellectual disabilities, Bill looked at the inhumane treatment at that time and it forged his passionate commitment to ensure that people with disabilities would be treated with dignity and respect.

    Easterseals Recognizes The Tatnall Preschool for Fundraising

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore President/CEO, Kenan J. Sklenar, recently presented a certificate of thanks to Aimee Neff, head of Tatnall Preschool, and Linda Champagne, preschool teacher, for their superlative fundraising efforts through their “Hop-N-ing” program.
  • Easterseals Receives Grant from Capital One

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently received a grant from Capital One to support the financial empowerment of people with disabilities. The grant will support a financial education program that will benefit participants in Easterseals day programs for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.
